The Paper Museum

For many centuries, the town of Malmedy has been famous for its paper industry.

Housed in the remarkable site of the completely restored Old Monastery, the museum is devoted to the precious resource of paper and lets the visitor into the secret of its production by using a tour through the history in four languages, documented by its archives, pictures and films.

Where does paper come from? How is it manufactured? Can it be recycled? How can it be used? … All these questions and many others are covered in the museum in an attractive and fitting manner.

Opening hours: To be opened during 2010.
